Oasis Scholarship is an initiative that is announced by the concerned department of the Government of West Bengal state and the scholarship portal for all the scholarships that are available for students of SC, ST, and OBC category. Run by the Backward Classes Welfare authorities, There are a lot of scholarship opportunities presented by the concerned department of the Government of West Bengal State through the Online Application For Scholarship or popularly known as Oasis organization. The candidates of the West Bengal state can online apply for the different types of scholarship present at the organization especially for the students who belong to the SC, ST, and OBC categories.

Oasis Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:

1.	Pre-matric scholarship for SC students	Students must be studying in class 9thand 10thand belong to the SC category. The family annual income should not be more than Rs. 2 Lakh from all sources.
2.	Pre-matric scholarship for ST students	A student must be pursuing in class 9thand 10thand belong to the ST category. annual income should not be more than Rs. 2 Lakh from all sources per annum.
3.	Post-matric scholarship for SC/ST students	candidates must be studying at the post-secondary or post-matriculation level and belong to SC/ST category. The family annual income should not be more than Rs. 2.5 Lakh from all sources per annum.
4.	Post-matric scholarship for OBC students	The applicants should be studying at the post-secondary level and belong to the OBC category. The annual income should not be more than Rs. 1 Lakh.

Documents of Oasis scholarship:

The following documents are required while online applying:

• Students photograph
• Candidates caste certificate issue by Authorities
• Previous year mark sheet/ certificate.
• Students birth certificate
• family Annual Income certificate
• Government-issued ID (Aadhar Card or any other)
• Address proof
• Applicants bank passbook
• Admission Fee receipt
• Domicile certificate

How to apply Oasis Scholarship:

To online apply for the Oasis Scholarship you have to follow the steps given below:-

Step-1: click on the official website of the scholarship portal.

Step-2: Now click on the options for students registration.

Step-3: A new page will be shown on your screen

Step-4: Then you have to choose the district in which is your institution placed.

Step-5: A new page will be shown on your screen

Step-6: You have to enter your details

Step-7: Verify your caste certificate

Step-8: Now Finally, click on submit

Step-9: The registration information will be shown on your screen

Step-10: Now you have to log in by your registration number

Step-11: Click on the  Students login button now to log in to the scholarship portal

Step-12: Click on the option apply option.

Step-13: The application form will be shown on your display

Step-14: Now click on Save And Proceed option

Step-15: You can download/ print your application form by the option Download Application Form.

Step-16: Submit your application online form along with all the required documents to the Block Development Officer (BDO) for block area or PO cum DWO for municipality corporation.

Steps for Renewal Students:

To renewal your scholarship you have to follow the steps given below:-

Step-1: Go to the official website of the scholarship.

Step-2: Now click on the option Renew Scholarship

Step-3: You need to log in using your application id and Password

Step-4: Verify your previous provided details

Step-5: Enter any other details

Step-6: Now, Click on the option Renew Application

Step-7: Enter your current academic details

Step-8: Now click on the option Renew and Lock Application.

You can download/ print your application form Download Application Form. from option.

Note: Submit your application form along with all the required documents to the Block Development Officer (BDO) for block area or PO cum DWO for municipality corporation.

How to Track Application Oasis Scholarship:

Step-1: Go to the official website of the scholarship.

Step-2: Now click on the option track an application

Step-3: A new page will be shown on your display

Step-4: Select your District

Step-5: Now Enter your Application Serial No/User ID

Step-6: Enter the applied district and scholarship session

Step-7: Now Enter the captcha code

Step-8: Click on Check Status.

Your scholarship status will be displayed on your screen.
